(outside of guest mentors during the pre-taped battle rounds.) It'll be interesting to see if they continue to do this in upcoming weeks.
And by the way, this isn't the first time there's been cross-over between the two singing competition shows: Kelly Clarkson mentored Blake Shelton's team during last season's battle rounds. NBC may be bringing on Jennifer Hudson as a mentor, but that doesn't seem to be the real reason why we'll see her on our TV screens Monday night. She's coming to promote Smash
, which she'll be guest starring on next year. That's right -- we're getting our "first extended sneak peek" of season 2, according to TVLine
And in anticipation of that first look, the season 2 poster has been revealed, featuring returning cast members Anjelica Huston, Katharine McPhee, Jack Davenport, Leslie Odom, Jr., Megan Hilty, Christian Borle and Debra Messing. The new faces on the below poster are Andy Mientus as Kyle, Jeremy Jordan as Jimmy, Krysta Rodriguez as Ana and Jennifer Hudson as Veronica. (BuddyTV also reported
