The Mysterious Jonathan Gilbert

Speaking of the tomb, Williamson has pointed out the fact that Elena and Jeremy's uncle arrives to Mystic Falls, coincidentally or not, just after the tomb was opened. And one of his plans, according to Plec is to fill the void in Founders' Council considering the "lack of Gilberts representing the founding families. Uncle John gets in there to stir things up."
