Supporters of The Unit have been looking forward to a new season packed with a suspenseful military action.  As season 3 unravels, viewers will soon find Command Sergeant Major Jonas “Snake Doctor” Blane (Dennis Haysbert) and the rest of the covert team of special forces operatives as they take on more risky undercover missions around the world, while their wives maintain the home front, protecting their husbands' secrets.  Expect the action to intensify in the episode entitled “Every Step You Take,” which is scheduled to air on Tuesday, October 16.

In the fourth episode of season 3, Staff Sergeant Bob “Cool Breeze” Brown (Scott Foley), Sergeant First Class Hector “Hammer Head” Williams (Demore Barnes), and Sergeant First Class Charles “Betty Blue” Grey (Michael Irby) are tasked to travel to Abidjan, Ivory Coast in the midst of an outbreak of violence in the region.  They attempt to rescue a small group of American Embassy personnel and their families who are under attack but encounter many hurdles in the process.

Another spoiler for “Every Step You Take” involves Jonas's daughter, Betsy Blane (Angela Wainwright), who decides to follow in his father's footsteps.  Betsy, a recurring character on the series, has enlisted in the army.  As a result, Jonas wants to train her and test her conviction as well.

“Every Step You Take” is directed by Helen Shaver, credited for The Outer Limits, Judging Amy, and  Joan of Arcadia, and written by Lynn Mamet.

In addition to the main ensemble, this episode of The Unit will also feature guest stars such as Ellis Kapp (Richard Gilliland), August O'Neill (Curtis Mark Williams), Alice O'Neill (Molly Schaffer), Ambassador Blashek (Dwier Brown), Jamie Kapp (Houston Graham), Maddy (Hilary Angelo), Beth Blashek (Laura Wernette), Luc (Kevin Lamont Jackson), and Martine (Danielle James).
