A couple of weeks ago,
Ashley Tisdale came back home to Los Angeles from New Zealand after concluding production for her new film entitled
They Came From Upstairs, which is set to be released early next year. That doesn't mean that her schedule is all freed up, as the
Suite Life star still has a lot on her plate in the coming months. In fact, the FOX network recently announced Tisdale's participation in the
American Idol special,
Idol Gives Back. Moreover, Tisdale is now gearing up to film the third and last installment of the
High School Musical films.
Unfortunately, it was also reported that Tisdale won't be joining the
Suite Life spin-off,
Suite Life on Deck, mostly due to her very hectic schedule. Nonetheless, the 22-year-old actress has a treat for those fans who just can't wait to see her again on television.
The Suite Life actress recently teamed up with Huckleberry Toys to create her own limited edition doll series. A doll enthusiast herself, Tisdale says that she is looking forward to this new and exciting endeavor.
"I'm really excited about my new doll line from Huckleberry Toys because I loved playing with dolls when I was younger," Ashley Tisdale said. "I never thought I would have my own doll line, and now it's a dream come true."
The first of three series is already out in the market through Toys "R" Us, and features outfits from her singles, "He Said, She Said," "Not Like That," and "Suddenly" from her debut album, Headstrong. Series 2, which will feature Tisdale's various fashion styles, is set to be released in August of this year.
"I think my fans will really love these dolls because I helped create them," Tisdale continued. "Everything from which outfits they'd be wearing to the fun accessories that come packaged with them."
This isn't the only treat Ashley Tisdale cooked up for her fans, as each doll comes with an exclusive 11"x17" poster, a collectible trading card, a sticker sheet and a real bracelet which doll lovers could wear. Moreover, the "He Said, She Said" and "Headstrong" dolls are packaged with Ashley's dog, Blondie and other accessories, while the "Not Like That" doll comes with a microphone, and miniature sized cell phone and makeup.
To catch more of Ashley Tisdale, tune in to Disney Channel this April 19th at 7:30pm, as the network will be holding the "Night of Premieres" event, featuring brand new episodes of
Phineas & Ferb,
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,
As the Bell Rings and
Cory in the House.
