Max Casella Biography: Born in Washington, D.C. on June 6, 1967, American actor Max Casella is known for his role in the popular series Doogie Howser M.D. Max, who is a member of the Rising Phoenix Repertory Theatre Company, is also a fixture in Broadway, doing plays such as The Lion King. His film credits include Ed Wood, Newsies, and Analyze This, with Robert De Niro. Benny Fazio is played by Max Casella on HBO's hit mobster series The Sopranos. Benny works for the DiMeo Crime Family under Christopher Moltisanti. He was an eager young hopeful who would hang out with Christopher, waiting to score an opportunity. Christopher and Tony had made use of Benny in several occasions, but his sloppy work manners finally got him seriously injured.
