Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are getting hitched, according to
US Weekly! And the happy couple didn't even tell Sarah Palin--they told the magazine instead.
Levi, 20, and Bristol, 19, are tying the knot in the next six weeks, and supposedly they won't be having sex again (despite the constant reminder of the 18-month-old child they have together) until then due to Bristol's abstinence pledge. (The 19-year-old mother, who recently had a turn as a teenage mother named Bristol on
The Secret Life of the
American Teenager, was on
Good Morning America last year promoting teenage abstinence and liked it so much she jumped on the bandwagon.)
The duo apparently reconnected three months ago while working out a
custody agreement for their son, Tripp.
"I really thought we were
over," said Levi, who recently appeared on
Kathy Griffin: My Life on
the D-List. "So when I went, I had no hope. I think we both just
started talking--and then we took Tripp for a walk."
That must
have been some walk, Levi. Because despite beating each other up in the
tabloids, these two crazy kids are giving it another go.
Six
weeks is a pretty short time to plan a wedding, so we thought we'd help
with one small element of the nuptials: the song for your first dance.
Here
are a few thoughts we came up with:
- "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus
- "We Made You" by Eminem
- "Sara" by Jefferson Starship
- "Pregnant" by R. Kelly
- "Babies Making Babies" by Sly & the Family Stone
- "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" by Jermaine Stewart
- "Don't Come Home A-Lovin' with Venison on Your Truck" by Debby
McClatchy
What do you think Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston should make their first-dance song? Or do you think they'll even make it to the alter? Will Sarah Palin be the one to stand up and object at the wedding? Or is this all a ploy so Mama Palin can run for president in 2012? Sound off in the comments!
