On tonight’s episode of The Real World, the house was divided. On one side, we had Greg and on the other … well, we had everybody else. Greg has had a difficult time making friends with anybody in the house since the season began. It could have something to do with the pranks he plays: putting rocks in people’s beds, wiping toothbrushes in grease, and stealing the underwear of the female roomies. Tonight’s episode featured a full fledged meltdown in the house with one cast member removed for a night by production.

Everyone in The Real World house feels that they have given Greg a fair chance. Greg has refused to be honest and up front with his housemates and everyone feels disrespected. When Greg lied to Sarah’s family about hiding her underwear, Will and Dave snapped, calling him out for lying. When Greg refused to reach their level of intensity, they called him out for refusing to stand up for himself. Will lost it, throwing things at Greg, calling him gay, and even making comments about Greg’s father, who passed away the year before. MTV production finally stepped in, removing Will from the house for a night, and ordering Will and Dave to attend anger management.

When Will returned the next day, the house came together for a meeting to try to figure out how to live peacefully with one another.  Not much headway was made, though Dave did apologize to Greg.  Will and Greg, on the other hand, felt that they couldn't work out their differences and stayed away from each other.  The roomies took a trip to visit Joey in rehab, who is almost finished with his stint.  He asked his friends not to party too much when he comes home because it would create an environment that he will not be able to live in.  An addiction specialist visited the house to talk to the housemates about how to make a healthy living situation for Joey when he returned but nobody seemed interested in changing or helping, except Sarah.
