star Miley Cyrus
is certainly eager to move on from doing tween sitcoms. While promoting her movie Bolt
, which hits theaters today, the 15-year-old singer-actress told E! News that she'd like to try her hand at reality television, specifically MTV's The Real World
, the show that features seven diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras follow their lives and interpersonal relationships.
"I would want to be on a reality show like The Real World
because I think that's crazy," Miley Cyrus told E! News
. "Anyone who would do that has some serious guts."
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Cyrus, who ventured into acting at the tender age of 9, has had a hectic lifestyle especially after landing the title character on the Disney hit show Hannah Montana
in March 2006.
"I just want to be in a really nice house with cameras following me around," the pop princess said of her yearning to just chill out. "I can just sit there, eat Cheetos, read my book, hang out all day."
Having cameras follow her around every time, Cyrus is now accustomed to life in the limelight. In fact, she describes her life as a "paparazzi town."
"It's like a free reality show, I just don't get paid for it," said the teen queen.
While Cyrus might be an ideal candidate for The Real World
, she'll just have to wait three more years since she'd have to be 18 years old to join the MTV program. In the mean time, fans of The Real World
can expect a colorful cast for its 21st season that includes Baya, Devyn, J.D., Ryan, Sarah, Chet, Scott and a transwoman named Kate, a first for the series.
The new season, which is called The Real World: Brooklyn,
is currently filming and is expected to air in early 2009.
