"We've been living beyond our means for awhile and, you know, spending money that we shouldn't be spending," says Frank to wife Lynne on tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. I think this statement should serve as a lesson not to just to Lynne but to all the other women on the Real Housewives franchise. Needless to say, a lot of the people on this Bravo docu-series are pretty much in denial about this.

After an eviction notice was handed to Lynne and Frank's daughter, Alexis, Frank comes clean about the family's dire financial situation. He also suggests that they cut back on expenses but all Lynne does is dwell on her husband's lying. Ironically, we alter we see Frank check-in in a hotel while Lynne goes to San Francisco for some shopping.

But Lynne and Frank aren't the only ones dealing with a big problem. Vicki finds out that her daughter Briana's neck is covered in nodules which could spell cancer. A scared Briana tells her mother about her next appointment which coincidentally falls on the same day as Vicki's work appointment.

"I don't know if I can make it," isn't really something you'd expect from a mother with a daughter who may have cancer but that's just the kind of thing that happens in The Real Housewives of Orange County. Obviously, Briana is pissed that all her mother cares about is work but luckily, Vicki does the right thing and comes to the appointment.

Meanwhile, Alexis is still upset about how Vicki disrespected her at Lynne's housewarming party. Nevertheless, she decides to come with the rest of the girls for the trip to San Francisco, and this allows her to do something she's never done before: travel without her husband Jim.  We'll see how that goes in next week's episode.
