It looks like distance and time apart have not healed any wounds between Tamra and Gretchen, who both left a lasting impression during last year's reunion show. Whether it's about Gretchen hooking up with Tamra's son Ryan in a bathroom or Tamra accusing Gretchen of having a bedroom relationship with a 40-year-old named Jay while she was engaged to a then leukemia suffering fiance Jeff, who was 65, the wedge between these two blonds are deeper than ever and it seems like a reconciliation is far from happening at this point. The bottom line is that they despise each other and are just trying to be "classy" and civil for Lynne's little reunion.
Everyone addresses the elephant in the room and acknowledges that the housewives don't have to like each other, they just have to respect each other. Unfortunately, all the talk about friendship and respect affect Gretchen and Tamra, who eventually get into a heated argument since none of them wants to apologize for what happened in the past. And this, folks, is just the beginning of the season opener.
As for the rest of the episode, we meet Alexis Bellino, a 32-year-old stay-at-home mom with a body that defies all logic that she is indeed a mother of three small children. Will the other housewives treat her well? We'll find out while Vicki works on strengthening her relationship with Donn, and Gretchen tries to move on from her fiancé's death in the arms of another man.
