The fourth season premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County
brought back Bravo's most fabulous ladies for another run, but with a new wife in tow: Gretchen. For the first episode, we get to see what the women are up to these days and how far they've gone in their lives. Also, we're introduced to this possible alien threat with blonde locks and diamond rings.
Maintaining that looks don't make a woman, Gretchen Rossi says she's far from the high maintenance lady she appears to be. She claims that she's pretty down-to-earth, except that she had the luck to snag herself a millionaire for a fiancé. She's already begun stirring up the atmosphere, trying to prove that she's not like the others. Probably because she's busy picking out $65,000, four carat diamond rings.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Other than that, the 30-year-old Gretchen raised some eyebrows when she waltzed into Orange County with Jeff, the “prince charming” who is 23 years her senior. She says she wasn't physically attracted to him, even adding that Jeff looks like Kenny Rogers or Santa Claus. However, the self-made automotive industry beacon cared for her so much that she was unable to resist him. Later, the show pulls at the viewers' heartstrings when it's revealed that Jeff was diagnosed with acute leukemia and that he needs Gretchen more than she needs him.
As Gretchen's story unfolds, the other housewives have their own businesses to take care of. Vicki Gunvalson
has been toiling away at her insurance company since last season, and now we get to see her reap what she sowed. She takes out her son Michael out to look at yachts, and she later tries to convince the family to sell their river house to buy the boat.
Meanwhile, Jeana Kough takes Gretchen and Jeff on a tour of a mansion. She's hoping to sell them a home in the Coto community, even though she has other things on her mind. It seems as though Jeana's legal separation hasn't affected her husband Matt, who continues to live with her despite the severance.
The newlywed Lauri Waring
Peterson seems to be enjoying her married life though. During dinner with her hubby, George, they begin to discuss plans for their honeymoon. She's looking for an exotic place to go to, and he suggests Dubai. Lauri wasn't too keen on the idea but she considers it as a stop over destination for shopping, on their way to Fiji.
Self-proclaimed “hottest Housewife” Tamra Barney is also back on the scene, once again with her natural concern about physical appearances. She decided to visit her local plastic surgeon that day, but this time accompanying her mother for a potential face lift. While there, Tamra couldn't stop herself from getting some lip injections for herself as well.
The Real Housewives of Orange County
later takes a catty spin, when the ladies head to Jeana's home for her designer trunk show. In a totally high school way, we find out that not everybody likes the new girl. Tamra says she's jealous of Gretchen's youth, while Vicki tells the camera that Gretchen shouldn't try to assert her friendship on her. Vicki wants to befriend Gretchen on her own terms instead.
A nervous Gretchen later admits that her breasts are real, and no one believes her. It's the very thing that made the Orange County bomb go off. Chaos spreads as Vicki overwhelms everyone with her opinions, while Gretchen doesn't even have a clue of what the fuss is. As expected, The Real Housewives of Orange County
starts off with a Vicki-sized bullet, aimed straight at the new Gretchen. Will her prince Jeff come to her rescue or will she be able to face the battle on her own? The Real Housewives of Orange County
returns next Tuesday on Bravo at 10pm.
