Gretchen Talks Spats on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County'
It won't be The Real Housewives of Orange County without the ladies, the fights, and oh the drama.  This is what newcomer Gretchen Rossi is finding out as she joins the team, and indeed, she jumped in to add to the conflict.

Gretchen has no problem fitting into the OC lifestyle, since she isn't afraid to speak her mind about the other wives.  For one, she's not shy about what she thinks about Vicki Gulvanson.

“I think sometimes Vicki is in her own little world and doesn't pay attention to anyone around her,” Gretchen admitted.  “It comes off very rude and very insensitive.”  Well, that's practically a classic trait of The Real Housewives of Orange County anyway.  Maybe Gretchen will get used to it, or she'll get in the middle of things and cause a flurry.  But on an upcoming episode, we get to see more of Vicki being her usual Vicki-self.

An emotional Gretchen talked much about Jeff, her fiancé, being diagnosed with acute leukemia, but it seems as though Vicki has no interest in it.  “Vicki is just typing [on her laptop] and couldn't care less about what I'm saying,” Gretchen said.  “And then afterward, she's like, ‘I don't want be chitchatting about death.'  I was like, What?”

Regarding her fiancé, the other housewives can't help exchanging comments about Gretchen behind her back.  Since Jeff is infamous for being 23 years older than Gretchen, the rest of the ladies have labeled her a ‘gold-digger.'  Worst of these is Tamra Barney, who was blinded by jealousy upon meeting the youthful Gretchen.

“You know, she was just really offensive to me in a statement that she made about Jeff,” Gretchen revealed.  “She just hit the wrong chord with me.  The day before, we talked and she was my best friend it seemed like, but then the next night she was making comments about him.  It was really hurtful.”

Gretchen insists that she sincerely loves Jeff despite refusing to marry him while he was dying.  “I think people would have made assumptions if I had married him during that time, and that's not the reason I was ever with Jeff,” said the 31-year-old reality show cast member.  “It just wasn't…I really wanted to marry him when he was healthy enough to walk down an aisle.  Jeff asked me many times to marry him while he was in the hospital and I said, ‘I'm not doing that.”

Keep watching the catfights on The Real Housewives of Orange County as it returns for a new episode tonight at 10pm on Bravo.
