Previously on The Real Housewives of Miami, Lisa was asked to be a bridesmaid by Adriana, but she continues her friendship with Lea and Joanna. Joanna asked her to go dress shopping with her in LA, but Adriana demands that she only agree to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Can Lisa keep up this game of straddling both sides of the fence or will she eventually come to Joanna and stay away from the dark (haired) side?

Wives Gone West

Lea, Lisa and Joanna head to LA (in first class, of course) for a short getaway to dress shop for Joanna. Joanna has a beautiful mansion in there with a tennis court and several pets, including newborn kittens (aww), that she and her charity, Angels for Animals, rescued. Lea is more impressed with it than her Miami home, but it's still not technically in the Hills, so it doesn't completely live up to her standards.

Then they go to San Diego the next day to the Aviara where Joanna is planning on having her wedding ceremony. She meets with the wedding planners and decides she wants to have the aisle in the center of the pool. It's obviously a beautiful venue with a great view and the three ladies start to get emotional.

Lea appreciates that Joanna came from nothing, as an immigrant from Poland, and now has really made it and is living the American Dream. Joanna wants to take in the enormity of the moment, but in doing so she misses her sister Marta, who was too busy with her Andretti boyfriend to come be a part of the wedding planning process.

At a wine tasting that afternoon, Joanna confronts Lisa about the bridesmaid situation. She tells her that she wants her to be a bridesmaid only for her and not for Adriana. Lisa does not appreciate being given an ultimatum or the awkward position it puts her in. Although she admits to being better friends with Joanna, she says she can't very well back out on Adriana, having already agreed to be a bridesmaid. Not only that, but she doesn't like that Joanna is trying to tell her who to be friends with.

Son Off the Rails

Alexia is constantly dealing with her older son Peter's destructive behavior that reminds her of her ex-husband, his father. She has him working for their magazine, Venue, to try and keep him out of trouble.

But at a photo shoot in downtown Miami after a rowdy taxi driver flips Alexia and the Venue crew the bird, Peter lashes out by slamming his hand on the cab. The driver calls the police, but nothing is made of the non-incident. Except Alexia is at her wits' end when it comes to dealing with her son's temper.

She tries to talk to her mom, who is also a therapist, about dealing with Peter. It seems that he has some anger about being kept in the dark about who his father really was (a felon) until he was 18, when a blogger called to ask him about it. Alexia maintains that she was trying to protect him for the truth, but it seems to have caused even more damage. She is, however, quite honest with her mother and in her confessionals about the mistakes she's made when raising Peter.

Wedding Worries

While Joanna's in LA scouting out locations for her wedding, Adriana and Frederic have settled on the beautiful Biltmore for her wedding. She explains to the hotel staff that she's having her guests wear all white for the ceremony and then requiring them to change to 1920's attire for a Great Gatsby theme for the reception. That Adriana, she's always thinking of others.

Back out west, Joanna is spending the day with her mother, Jolanta, and meeting with the designer of her dress. She wants something that will show off her boobs and legs, but her mother would prefer if she got something a tiny bit more traditional.

Lisa and Lea are spending the day in Lea's LA home that is just as spectacular as her Miami place. Lea also uses her connections to help land Lisa a Birkin bag, because apparently she's just been dying to spend $75,000 on a handbag.

They meet Joanna for dinner, along with two of Joanna's other bridesmaids. So of course, the bridesmaid subject comes up once again. Jolanta points out that Joanna is being childish by not including Lisa in her bridal party just because she's in Adriana's. Joanna says she'll give it some thought, but she really still isn't sold on the idea.

This week's episode is a bit uneventful, but we're really making progress on the wedding front. And it looks like we won't be slowing down from here.
