Last season, The Real Housewives of Atlanta introduced us to five glamorous women as they tried to balance the Atlanta social scene with business and motherhood. Now, our favorite southern gals are back, and if the vein in Sheree's neck is any indication, it seems as if viewers are in for an explosive season opener.

New comer Kandi Burruss joins returning cast members Lisa Wu Hartwell, Sheree Whitfield, Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes for a drama-filled second season, which kicks off tonight at 10pm on Bravo.

In "New Attitude, Same ATL," Sheree decides to throw herself another "Independence Party" since her divorce from former New York Giant Bob Whitfield has been finalized. But as you can see in the preview clips, the party plan doesn't go as expected.

Kandi, who is contemplating about her new life with fiancé AJ, brings her career-long ties to Atlanta's music community. And because of that, viewers can expect a roster of celebrity cameos for the coming season, including rappers Jazze Pha, Juelz Santana and Young Jeezy, singers Ciara, Monica, Angie Stone and TLC member Tionne (T-Boz) Watkins. In the first episode alone, the Atlanta ladies get dolled up for Reno 911! star Niecy Nash's birthday party where Shereé and NeNe reflect on their tumultuous past. Furthermore, NeNe narrowly misses Kim arriving in a tiny Armani zipper dress, Nash ribs Lisa about the "feuding" among the housewives, while Whitfield doesn't seem to know who Nash is.

On the other hand, Lisa opens up the idea of having another baby with her husband, and Kim decides she wants to design a line of wigs, and gets the ball rolling by going to cosmetology school.

Meanwhile, NeNe, who began her search for her real father last season, told Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "I may have a celebrity sister." So expect more drama in that department as well.
