Kandi Burruss may be the newest housewife on the Atlanta block but that doesn't mean she's a stranger to reality TV drama. The singer-song writer, who is friends with co-star Lisa Wu Hartwell off set, has hinted on what viewers can expect from her as she joins The Real Housewives of Atlanta
, which returns for its second season on Thursday, July 30 at 10pm on Bravo.
There is already existing tension between some of the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta
and coming on board as a newbie appears to only make things complicated. But that's not the case for Burrus, who doesn't seem to be intimidated by her other co-stars.
"Not really, I just try to be cool and learn people's personalities and be myself, I just wanted to not go too hard, when I think things I say it, I know that doesn't come off too good. Lisa made it very easy because she is so nice, and her husband is great, they made it so fun," Kandi Burruss said.
Still, it's hard to please everyone. In fact, Burruss has already hinted on which housewife she has had a run-in with.
"I had my moment with one of the cast mates, but I try to get along for the most part. NeNe and my personalities clash sometimes," she said.
"I was a fan last year, this year I did a lot of crying too," she added. "There was always something going on that I was getting emotional about. I hate when I cry in front of people, now its millions of people! I hate that! I think it's going to be a lot of fun, and people get to see the real reals."
