Scott is featured as one of the members of the cast in the VH1 reality television series The Pickup Artist. He is 26 years old and works as a laboratory manager. He has described himself as having notable personality quirks, such as inventing his own curse word, “Frasen!” He also claims to be an incredibly intellectual individual, one that’s easy to love, if you don’t mind his facial ticks and his highly expressive eyebrows. Among his hobbies is designing unique games, and he also doesn’t mind being called a consummate geek. In his everyday speech, he makes use of phrases such as “Dagnabbit!” and “Oh, jeez!”

He also takes pride in his dislike of soda, and he whiles away the hours with activities such as overhauling and rewriting the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons from a level-based system to a point-based system. However, he does feel worried by the fear that he may stay a bachelor for the rest of his life, despite dwelling in an environment rich with single women. If he fails to snag himself a partner, he will consider himself a failure. He blames this partially on his inability to ask someone out, which has still left him a virgin at his present age.
