The Originals returns after the new peace agreement was signed in New Orleans. Will the harmony last? It's doubtful. Marcel has been banished from the Quarter and wants to regain his position. Plus, can Klaus ever be trusted? The episode's title, "The Big Uneasy," doesn't suggest a lasting peace either.
Klaus is upset about the noise and disruption from Elijah's renovations at their family home. The elder brother wants to return their home to the elegance and glory from before. Genevieve agrees with Elijah.
Klaus assumes that means the witch wants something from Elijah and he's right. With the new peace, she wants the witches to be able to celebrate their traditional feast day. He allows it, but don't expect it to go off without problems. The episode is titled, "The Big Uneasy," after all.
"The Big Uneasy" Trailer
Klaus keeps Genevieve around for company, but there's more to it than that, "One never knows when a powerful witch will come in handy." Oh, that's so true.
Marcel believes Klaus has a deal with the witches that's being kept from Elijah. Could that information be what Marcel needs to get back into the Quarter? He confronts Diego and wants to know they are on the same side or not.
Elijah and Hayley are still close. He warns her not to trust someone. Who could that be?
The feast becomes a fight zone when Davina uses her magic. Where do they go from there? "Who said maintaining alliances can't be fun." -- Klaus. Fun indeed!
The Originals airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on the CW.
