It's a full moon and the witches have declared war on The Originals. In "Crescent City," the vampires are threatened by witches in the aftermath of Papa Tunde's sacrifice and the city is visited by some special werewolves. Will the vampires come together or turn on each other?

Papa Tunde's body is left for Klaus and the vampires. Due to his sacrifice, Celeste now possesses a very powerful weapon to use against the Originals. And, they know that it's Elijah's former lover who is threatening them.
The witches have declared war on the vampires.
The episode is titled "Crescent City" because there's a full moon. The "Crescent" werewolves have been cursed to stay in their wolf form except for during the full moon. Some of these werewolves will make an appearance as humans.

Klaus and Cami meet again and he admits that he's done some bad things. And then he sticks up for her uncle. Klaus wants her to understand that Father Kieran lied for her own protection. Klaus shows he does have a heart.

Celeste and Elijah are reunited. She doesn't want to kill him, but wants him to betray Klaus.
There's a fire and Hayley's at risk with one of the werewolf humans. And, someone looks to be locked in a tomb screaming.
