There's always plenty to laugh about when watching The Office.  While there are pranks, quirky characters and odd storylines, there's another aspect of the show that keeps it interesting.  I'm referring to the clever yet hilarious language that the sitcom employs.  Whether it's a word that sounds funny or something that doesn't really make sense, The Office language has become quite a staple on Dunder Mifflin, and has also become popular among the show's fans.  And because of this, NBC.com has created The Office Addictionary to give fans the opportunity to play with words.

"The fans of The Office are some of the most creative people on the web, and this new site feature has been a great way to capture all the content they were already generating in their conversations on our bulletin boards and elsewhere," NBC vice president Stephen Andrade said in a statement. "We hope that by putting this material in one central location on our site we will give it a whole new audience and allow fans to generate even more Office related words."

On the show's website, users are able to propose their own words, submit definitions for words yet-to-be created, rate and comment on other fans' words, and track all of the activity via Twitter feed.

Dinkin' Flicka, a phrase similar to “that's life” that which was said by Michael Scott (Steve Carell) to Darryl Philbin (Craig Robinson) in the episode “Casino Night,” Count Choculitis, a medical ailment claimed by someone in the office in the episode “Health Care,” Epiphery, a word used by Michael when he realizes something big, and William Charles Schneider, the man Creed (Creed Bratton) says he transfers his debt to, are just among the many words already submitted by the show on then website.  Since the launch of the Addictionary in November, users have added over 700 words.

Fans can catch The Office every Thursday at 9pm on NBC.
