The O.C. may have ended but that doesn’t mean that Autumn Reeser’s career is over too.  The 26-year-old actress, who played Taylor Townsend on the FOX teen drama, is set to star in a new tele-film called Nature of the Beast.

In Nature of the Beast, Autumn Reeser will be playing the role of Julia, joining Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie) and Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty).

Slated for October, the miniseries tells a classic story of boy meets girl.  However, the romantic plot takes a horrific turn with a twist of comedy as the boy turns out to be a werewolf.  Engaged and eager to get married, the boy struggles to keep his secret as he contends with meeting his new future in-laws.

The feature is directed by Rodman Flender and written by David Kendall and Bob Young.

Meanwhile, this isn’t Reeser’s only upcoming project. The former O.C. actress will also be featured on The World According to Barnes. She’ll be taking on the role of Sheri, the daughter of an FBI agent, in a comedy-drama plot about a pair of college students who discover that they have a knack for solving crimes. The cast also includes Ryan Devlin and Ravi Patel.

This Californian native catapulted to fame as part of the television series The O.C. Although she appeared in season three as a recurring character, she eventually became a series regular and a love interest of Ryan Atwood (Ben McKenzie).

Apart from The O.C., Autumn Reeser had recurring roles on Complete Savages, Maybe It’s Me and Grounded for Life.  She first started acting in her hometown as part of musical theater productions. On the big screen, she was cast in The Girl Next Door as Jane, Americanese as Sylvia and the tele-film The Brady Bunch in the White House as Marcia Brady.
