Julia Louis-Dreyfus earned worldwide acclaim and recognition for her portrayal of Elaine Benes in the hit series "Seinfeld." She received an Emmy award, a Golden Globe award, five Screen Actors Guild awards and four American Comedy Awards during the show's nine year run. Her other recent television credits include a recurring role on "Arrested Development." She also starred in the series "Watching Ellie" and lent her voice to the television movie "Animal Farm." Louis-Dreyfus first made her mark on television during a three year stint (1982-1985) on "Saturday Night Live" opposite the likes of Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest and Eddie Murphy. Most recently, she won the Emmy Award as Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her lead role on THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE. She portrays "Old" Christine Campbell in that series.
