got her television break as Darcy on the FOX comedy series The Loop
. She portrayed the secretary of the lead character Sam (Bret Harrison
) who seemed to be overqualified for the job and possessed a somewhat bitter personality. She was also noted for her strong emphasis on her intellect as an MIT grad. Most often than not, she emoted about her skills and know-how in doing menial tasks because of her educational background. At present, the 31-year-old actress is working on a project that will further broaden her exposure on the big screen.

Slated for 2008, White on Rice features the former Loop actress in her second movie as Mary. The story revolves around a Japanese family living in the United States. Comedy surfaces as a 40-year-old man and his 10-year-old nephew fall in love with the same woman. Directed and written by David Boyle with Ryotaro Minamimoto, the film also includes James Kyson Lee (Heroes) as Tim Kim, Cathy Shim as Betty and Hiroshi Watanabe.
Aide from The Loop, Joy Osmanski was also cast in the comedy A Fat Girl’s Guide to Yoga, which was her first dip in the silver screen. She played a minor role as a receptionist, joining Wendy McKinney and Mecca Dickerson.
Although The Loop was short-lived, Joy Osmanski remains to be associated with her comical character, which launched her to the entertainment industry and opened doors of opportunities for the South Korean actress.
