On the small screen, Eric Christian Olsen was known for his role as Sully Sullivan on the FOX comedy series The Loop.  As the older brother and roommate of lead character Sam (Bret Harrison), he was perceived as wild and unruly.  Throughout the show, he added humour to the plot with his attempts to hold down a series of odd jobs, his effort to chase women and his partying lifestyle, which usually affected Sam’s career.  In the coming month, he’ll be working on several comedy projects set for the big screen.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

This coming October, the former Loop actor will be featured in director Tom Brady’s The Comebacks.  The sports-themed comedy movie follows a college football coach (David Koechner) with the most horrible record in the history of the sport as he vows to redeem his reputation with his new team of ragtag recruits.  The cast also includes Andy Dick and Matthew Lawrence.

Next year, he’ll continue to grace the movie world with yet another comedy flick.  He stars in Sunshine Cleaning as the character Randy in a plot about a mom struggling to raise tuition for her son’s education as she engages into a crime-scene clean-up service with her unreliable sister. Leading the film are Amy Adams and Emily Blunt.

At present, Eric Christian Olsen is filming the TV pilot The Hill.  This time, the former Loop actor will be leading the comedy series as the character Matt O’Brien, a Senator’s aide in Washington D.C. who falls for he daughter of his boss’ rival.  Joining Olsen are Michelle Trachtenberg as Maggie Rogers and Wendie Malick as Senator Lowell.

Most recently, he joined Mandy Moore, Robin Williams and John Krasinski (The Office) in the romantic comedy License to Wed. This was his first featured project right after he gave life to the rowdy character on The Loop.
