The show centers on the lives and loves of a crowd of lesbian friends residing in Los Angeles, California. The main cast of the show The L Word consists of Jennifer Beals (Bette Porter), Erin Daniels (Dana Fairbanks), Pam Grier (Kit Porter), Leisha Hailey (Alice Pieszecki), Laurel Holloman (Tina Kennard), Mia Kirshner (Jenny Schecter), Karina Lombard (Marina Ferrer), Eric Mabius (Tim Haspel), and Katherine Moennig (Shane McCutcheon).

The L Word is also produced by Ilene Chaiken. It airs Sundays at 10:00 PM on Showtime.
