Carrie Heffernan is played by Leah Remini in
The King of Queens, a comedy show. Carrie is Doug Heffernan's attractive wife who dropped out of college and worked as a paralegal. Carrie likes shopping for items like shoes and dresses, things that she already has many of. Carrie's best friend is Kelly Palmer, the wife of her husband's best friend. Carrie is the person in charge yet can be very apologetic when she has done something wrong. On the flip side, she can also be very dominating and sharp-tongued at times. As a wife, however, she is very understanding, loving and patient towards her husband and even with her father.
