We've all heard about it on the news.
Spencer Pratt and
Heidi Montag have tied the knot, leaving everyone including their friends and families surprised. Their spur-of-the-moment decision to say their “I Do's” happened last month at The One & Only Palmilla Resort near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. And while the couple didn't invite anyone on their wedding, that doesn't mean that fans of
The Hills won't be able to witness Spencer and Heidi's big day.
On tonight's episode of
The Hills, Spencer and Heidi ignore the concerns of their families and make a holiday trip to Mexico where they decide to elope. Meanwhile,
Whitney takes a chance at a dream job in New York City and says goodbye to
Lauren and her life in Los Angeles.
Since eloping last month, Heidi's mother Darlene Egelhoff has been very vocal about her distress regarding her daughter's marriage to Spencer, whom she is not in favor of from the very start of the relationship. According to Darlene, Spencer has been nothing but trouble for her daughter and is confident that the marriage won't last very long. In fact, she guesses that it will only last six months.
"Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life," Darlene told
Us Magazine. "I've been honest with Heidi, and it's caused our relationship to decline. I'm more devastated about that than the marriage, because I'm confident the marriage won't work out. God says, 'Love your enemies,' but I never expected it to be my son-in-law. I think it's the biggest mistake Heidi's ever made."
With only two episodes left, including tonight's installment, MTV is packing in all the drama before the fourth season of
The Hills comes to a close.
Don't forget to catch tonight's highly anticipated episode of
The Hills at 10pm ET/PT on MTV.
