There's nothing better than a fight between reality television stars, and we get to see one unfold right here. Last week, Paris Hilton commented on MTV's The Hills being "so lame and fake" in addition to her boyfriend's remarks that it was "cheesy." This angered many of the show's fans, and of course the series' cast members - one of which was Holly Montag.
On an exclusive interview with Hollyscoop, the reality TV celebrity expressed her thoughts on Paris Hilton and warned her for the next time she opens her mouth. Holly Montag was at the Oakley Intro to Summer Event at Skybar at the Mondrian in West Hollywood when she voiced out her opinion on the issue.
Holly says she understood that the harsh comments were because of Paris' boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, who also had his start on
The Hills. "She has her opinion, and she's just being protective [of Doug] because no one wanted to see Doug on it, right? Because he only lasted what? 3 episodes?" Montag said.
"I don't know if it's because of the reality [part of the show] that she's talking about, but I think she's done reality too," the
Hills star continued.
"I think if we're gonna compare shows, let's take a look at [Paris' show] Best Friend or whatever its called and let's just check out the ratings and we'll see. If she calls us out, we call her out right back!"
While it seems as though
The Hills is doing far better than Paris' reality competition, Holly Montag says there shouldn't be anything bad going on between the stars of both shows. "We love Paris, she's so nice, but she's just jealous," she said.
Speaking as a star of
The Hills, Holly thinks the former star Doug is "such a sweet guy," and even deemed him "the nicest guy ever." It's one reason why Holly Montag hopes he tells his girlfriend Paris to stand back.
"Quit dissing our show," Montag exclaimed, plain and simple.
