The Girls Next Door: Kendra Spills the Beans on New Show

The E! Network has confirmed that Kendra Wilkinson will truly be leaving The Girls Next Door in favor of her own reality series, Kendra.  More hilarity will ensue for the sporty star, as she tries to figure out how to live life on her own, for the very first time.  Premiering this summer, the show follows the 23-year-old celebrity as she moves out of the Playboy mansion and adjusts to new experiences, especially in her married life.

“There's a lot of comedy because I am on my own for the first time in my life,” Kendra Wilkinson announced.  “I have no one to help me. I have no butlers, no maids, no Hef to take care of the bills—no one doing my laundry!”

E! Representative Lisa Berger showed her support for the show Kendra (a working title) by saying, “Throughout the five seasons of Girls Next Door, Kendra has developed a loyal fan-base because of her outrageous personality and trademark laugh.”  She added, “Now she's faced with the reality of making it outside the gates of the Mansion and as Kendra's fans are aware, you never (ever) know what she's going to do next.”

Her NFL star fiancé, Hank Baskett, is feeling pretty excited as well. Kendra recently took him to the Playboy mansion to meet her ex, Hugh Hefner.  This was to assure both of them that getting married in that place was a great decision, one she's not willing to give up.

“Hank's so comfortable with things now,” Wilkinson confessed.  “We showed Hef our engagement video and Hef was so happy, he cried.”  Even so, the media mogul isn't going to be the one who's giving Kendra away for the wedding.  That'll be her younger brother's job, while her former The Girls Next Door co-stars Bridget and Holly will remain bridesmaids.

“It's more than likely we will get married at the Mansion, but you know, I think it's awkward for Hank to have Hef give me away,” Kendra said.  “It just doesn't make sense, because it shouldn't be someone who's an ex-boyfriend.”

Though their romance is over, the soon-to-be wed star claims she's happy about how things are turning out.  She even got a chance to meet Hef's new girlfriends, Crystal Harris and the Shannon twins.  “I really like Crystal,” she admitted.  “She seems like she cares about Hef a lot.  I see that in her eyes...As long as Hef's happy, I'm happy.  I'm not saying I'm going to be friends with them, but I just want him to be happy.  If they were stressing him out, you know I'd be right in there on them.”

But it won't be that easy if Hef would ask her to have another Playboy photo shoot.  “If the offer came up, I would definitely have to have a big talk with Hank—and a talk with Hank's family.”
