The major networks may like to take off during the summer, but not TNT, which has an ambitious lineup of nine shows, new and returning. All summer long TNT will have big events like the second season of the alien invasion series Falling Skies, the premiere of its Dallas reboot, the final season of The Closer and more.

Returning shows include Angie Harmon in the detective drama Rizzoli and Isles, Mark-Paul Gosselaar in the legal dramedy Franklin and Bash, Noah Wyle's alien invasion series Falling Skies, the con artist team of Leverage and the final six episodes of Kyra Sedgwick's The Closer.

TNT will also debut four new shows this summer. Dallas is a reboot of the iconic primetime soap with Patrick Duffy, Larry Hagman and Linda Gray reprising their original roles while a new crop of Ewings shows up, including Desperate Housewives alums Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson.

The Great Escape
is a new reality series from the producers of The Amazing Race where teams must find their way out of seemingly impossible situations like a prison.

Perception
stars Will and Grace's Eric McCormack as a neuroscience professor hired by the FBI to help solve cases.

Finally, the Closer spin-off Major Crimes stars Mary McDonnell as Captain Raydor and will feature several other Closer alums as well.
