Susan Flannery was born on July 31, 1945 in New York. She is an acclaimed Golden Globe and four times Emmy Award-winning American soap opera actress who is known for playing Dr. Laura Spencer Horton on Days of Our Lives from 1966 to 1975. In 1974 she also appeared in the film The Towering Inferno and the television series Dallas. Her popularity ensued when she was cast for a role in The Bold and the Beautiful, a soap opera.

Stephanie Forrester is played by Susan Flannery in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Stephanie is a strong woman who is determined to protect her family. She clearly knows what is best for her family and doesn't hesitate to guide them carefully in the right direction. She is so protective that she can't mind her own business and let her children live their own lives. Her husband was Eric Forrester whom she had four children with.
