The Bill Engvall Show

TBS has an upcoming family sitcom entitled The Bill Engvall Show. Created by Engvall and Michael Leeson, the series premieres on Tuesday, July 17 at 9/8c.

Set in a Denver suburb, The Bill Engvall Show centers on the life and work of therapist Bill Pearson. Although he works as a counselor to dysfunctional families, he seems to struggle in giving advice to his own absurd family, composed of his wife and three kids.

Leading the cast is comedian Bill Engvall who stars as Bill Pearson, a family counselor whose family calls for some advice as well. Engvall is best known for his work as a stand-up comic and as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group.

Playing the role of Bill Pearson’s witty wife Susan Pearson is actress Nancy Travis. Her acting credits include The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Becker, Beyond Suspicion, and To Live For.

Skyler Gisondo stars as Bryan Pearson, Bill and Susan’s musically inclined son who owns a pet snake. This young actor is popularly known for starring in films like For Heaven’s Sake, Parmigiano, and Halloween. On television, he has also appeared on shows like Monk, Everybody Loves Raymond and Huff.

Portraying Bill and Susan’s daughter Lauren Pearson is actress Jennifer Lawrence. Initially a model, she has gradually worked her way in the entertainment industry with films like The Devil You Know, Garden Party, Poker House and Waverly Hills. On television, she has guest starred on Medium and Monk.

Last but not the least, Graham Patrick Martin stars as Trent Pearson, Bill and Susan’s sporty son who also loves video games. This actor has starred in stage productions of The King and I, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The Bill Engvall Show is produced by TBS with Leeson’s Welladay, Inc. and Williams’ Parallel Entertainment.
