On tonight’s episode of
The Biggest Loser, the final five contestants are surprised with a trip to Australia. Before the leave,
Ali,
Kelly, and
Mark form a secret alliance with the plan to get rid of
Roger. They’ll have to deal with that later, though. When they arrive in Sydney, Bob and Jillian are there to meet them. The continent isn’t a new experience for the two trainers, who have been working with
The Biggest Loser: Australia. They left before the contestants and had to find out there that Dan was eliminated after the last weigh in.

Nobody cries more than the blue team. NOBODY! :)
The contestants participated in a traditional Aboriginal smoking ceremony. Legend has it that the smoke envelopes you and gets rid of what is not needed. After that, it was time for a tough workout Down Under. After a quick trip to the market, and a lesson in calorie counting, the contestants are surprised by Adro, the winner of
The Biggest Loser: Australia, season 1.
For tonight’s challenge, the five players climbed a bridge 440 feet in the air. The winner would receive a plane ride during sunset and get to take one person with them. In order to get it, the contestants would have to bike, swim, run, and climb to get to the finish line. Most of the race is just between Ali and Mark.
Jay trailed slightly behind in 3rd while Kelly and Roger made up 4th and 5th place. Though Mark had the lead, he decided to sit right before the finish line and wait for Ali to get there. She literally carried him across the finish line and the two decided to take the win (and the prize) together. As part of their reward, they also got to make phone calls home.
After a challenging last chance workout, the contestants headed to a crucial weigh in. Here are the numbers:
- Jay: + 1 pound (-0.50%)
- Ali: - 3 pounds (2.01%)
- Roger: - 2 pounds (0.85%)
- Kelly: - 1 pound (0.52%)
- Mark: + 1 pound (-0.55%)
Mark and Jay both fall below the yellow line after each gaining a pound. Mark once sacrificed himself so that his brother could stay in the game and tonight, Jay returned the favor. He was voted out of the game and tomorrow, will talk to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.
Alison finished the evening by dropping a bomb on the final four: they'll head back to campus but their trainers won't be there with them. They'll have to make it through the last week alone.
