From a celebrity singer looking to get back on the charts, to a rodeo cowboy looking to get back on the horse, The Biggest Loser
season 15 is all about second chances. The show has always been invested in providing the platform to change the lives of both the contestants and viewers, but this season's focus on second chances and starting again holds the promise of being the most inspiring season yet!
From American Idol to The Biggest Loser
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
For the first time ever, (not counting Olympic athletes), The Biggest Loser
has a celebrity contestant in American Idol
, season 2 winner, Reuben Studdard. He was a delight on American Idol and based on the following sneak preview clip, he will continue to bring much needed levity and charm to The Biggest Loser
As an added motivator, the contestants will begin the season by bearing their starting weight on their jerseys instead of the team colors we've grown to expect. Of course, they will ultimately be assigned to trainers and teams.
For the first time ever, the trainers participated in the casting for this season. They interviewed potential contestants, even going so far as putting some "maybes" through preliminary workouts to determine if they would be able to handle the unique environment that is The Biggest Loser
. As a result, the trainers are already attached and invested in these contestants, which should make their relationships in the gym very interesting! Check out the casting process in the following web exclusive clip:
Also for the first time ever, the trainers are allowed one "Trainer Save" for the season, to save a contestant from being sent home. This could be a major game changer. The weigh-ins are by far the most intense parts of the show, and these Trainer Saves will just add to that pressure!
