Besides the finale, the makeover week is probably one of the episodes most fans are looking forward to on The Biggest Loser. After all, it's the time when contestants are pampered with new clothes, transformed with new looks and beaming with confidence.

Most of the contestants look chick and sassy tonight--Sunshine rocks her new look while Koli has that charming geek drama going.  But of course the episode isn't just about looking good and feeling because there's also the challenge that involves the Jacob's Ladder.

In a nutshell, this week's challenge finds the remaining contestants climbing a cardio machine with a revolving ladder above a pool. The objective of the game is to avoid falling down the longest in order to get a 1-pound advantage at the weigh-in. Koli ends up the winner of this challenge so he gets the 1-pound advantage at the weigh-in while Ashley drops first and gets the 1-pound disadvantage.

Here are the results of the weigh-in:

Ashley: 238 pounds (-10)
Daris: 205 pounds (-9)
Koli: 244 pounds (-15)
Michael: 334 pounds (-9)
Sam: 238 pounds (-2)
Sunshine: 178 pounds (-9)

Consequently, Michael and Sam find themselves below the yellow line. And though each of them receives two elimination votes, Sam is ultimately sent home since he had the smallest percentage of weight loss this week.

Still, Sam's elimination isn't that depressing. He came on The Biggest Loser with a starting weight of 372 pounds and by week 16, he has lost 134 pounds. He also looks good and happy, thanks to Stephanie who has now moved in with him. All in all, it's a pretty good ending.
