The Biggest Loser: Couples
returned last week with the usual stuff--the hard challenge, the eye-opening (this time, literally) weigh-in, the issues that come with the weight... yeah, I'd like to think they're the usual stuff. What struck me last week, though, was what happened to Cherita at the bikes: her vicious cramps literally stopping her from finishing the challenge, and forcing her elimination. It was scary looking at Dr. Huizenga come over, and check, and stop her, and stop her again. Eeek.
That's not exactly happening this week, but there's a reason why Dr. H is around at the ranch.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
It's the contestants' second week at the ranch, and it's time to make everybody realize that their weight loss is far worse than they think. Yep, we know about all the health risks obesity brings, from different illnesses to psychological effects. And, with this season's cast being the heaviest ever, certainly they're more at risk for those catastrophic diseases. So, tonight, the remaining contestants take on a medical task (whatever that means) that will serve as an eye-opener for each of them.
And then there's the much-dreaded second week curse--the time when they've lost all the easy weight and the balance between losing weight and staying healthy has to be made. Last season, Alison struck a deal that motivated everyone to lose more weight and prevented an elimination. This season, it doesn't seem to go that way--and someone will end up gaining a pound. Eeeek. Elimination's gonna be scary.
That, plus a challenge with a good prize and a bad ending, and Jillian taking on another contestant's fears, on The Biggest Loser: Couples
