And The Biggest Loser Is ...
And The Biggest Loser Is ...
It's here! The finale! Welcome, everyone who tunes in just for the finale/immediate results and doesn't watch the rest of the season! I know you're out there because most of my family does that. And The Biggest Loser is counting on you doing that, too, because most of this two-hour show is going to be full of recapping and flashbacks. And there will be reveals and beeping of the scale, too, of course. I love it!

Alison looks like she's actually excited at the top of the show. She looks great and she drank two Red Bulls (I imagine). She needs to start out strong because she has to run this thing for two solid hours and it's live. I can't wait to see everyone, but first we have to watch them do a bunch of stuff in slow motion in a montage summarizing the season. Just tell us that Ada made it to the final three already (seriously, Elizabeth doesn't stand a chance. I will drop dead in shock if Elizabeth gets more votes than Ada.)

Alison unveils the Biggest Loser scale and the audience goes, "ooooh" like they're on The Price is Right and Rod Roddy just told them about a new hot tub. Finally, Alison brings out Ada and Elizabeth. Ada looks amazing (DUH!) She tells us that her parents have been very supportive and she has a new-found confidence. Next Elizabeth comes out looking thinner than I thought she would. She didn't keep the bangs Ken Paves gave her but she looks very pretty. I think Elizabeth knows America isn't going to put her through. And the contestant going through to the Final 3 (with an "overwhelming" majority) is ... Ada!

Now that that's over with, let's see some more reveals!

Alison brings out Bob and Jillian to say some stuff nobody cares about. Next, Alison introduces Adam (who is hot now, right?), Allie (who might not have lost much weight and looks like she knows it,) and Tina (who basically quit.) We're going to learn more about Season 11 of The Biggest Loser: one of the contestants is an Olympic Gold Medalist and the two super-secret trainers will be revealed! Think we'll have heard of them?

The contestants who never made it to the ranch are in the audience and they look really good, having lost the weight on their own. Elizabeth weighs in first, probably because they don't expect her to win. She's lost 71 pounds. Then Adam weighs in and after losing some weight in tears and wind (he started making a speech that Alison had to curtail,) he lost 182 pounds, putting him in the lead. He and Alison share an awkward half-hug as she tries to maneuver him into place and I love every second of it. Live television! Allie lost 74 pounds, 75 if she took some of that makeup off. Tina lost 72 pounds. Love your hair, Tina, you're looking good!

Next we see Brendan, Sophia, and Lisa. They're really mixing up the order with this finale, I like it. Is it just the vest or is Brendan totally built now? Did you see contestants from The Biggest Loser 8 in the audience? I got stupid excited about it. Brendan lost 117 pounds, which is not enough to put him in the lead. Sophia, who kind of looks like Grace Jones a little? lost 65 pounds. Lisa lost 97 pounds.

Alison brings out Anna, Jesse, and Burgandy. Anna and Jesse look awesome (I love Jesse's bowtie!) and Burgandy looks straight up crazy. Anna lost 109 pounds and she looks sexy! Jesse lost 166 pounds. That is an entire person! Adam is still in the lead by one pound. Burgandy lost 64 pounds so she and her Fatal Attraction hair will have to take a seat.

Next out are Rick, Jessica, and Aaron. They all look great, and Rick looks like an old movie star, but it looks like Aaron will be the one to beat. Rick's tux story was so sweet and I'm so excited for Aaron (who we couldn't hear, unfortunately. LIVE TV!) Rick lost 165 pounds and takes the lead for the at-home prize. Jessica lost 92 pounds. Aaron lost 172 pounds, which was not enough to take the lead from Rick.

One man remains, my choice for the at-home prize: Mark! Oh and he looks so, so thin! Will it be Mark or Rick? It's gotta be Mark, right? He actually fits into his hair now. Mark started at 421 pounds and needs to have lost over 198 pounds. He looks confident. And he lost 213 pounds!

My jaw literally dropped. So Mark won the at-home prize of $100,000 and I won the satisfaction of a fulfilled prediction.

Alison introduces us to another contestant on the upcoming season of Biggest Loser (premiering Jan. 4!). She had to lose over 100 pounds just so doctors could clear her to be on the show. I am freaky excited for the next season already so I'm glad we don't have to wait too long. When do we get to meet the secret new trainers?

Now it's time to bring out the finalists: Ada, Frado, and Patrick. I love when they punch through the old versions of themselves! Speaking of, it reminds me of an old SNL skit with Steve Carrell. Frado looks great like we remember (and kind of like a celebrity, but who? Anyone?) Patrick looks insane in the best way. Frado gets to decide the order and decides he'll go first, Ada second, and Patrick third. Do they all know that Patrick will probably win? I mean, he really looks crazy good.

Finally! We're meeting the new trainers! Except we're not going to get to find out who they are. Instead we'll see them being all intense in silhouette form. One of the new trainers is a lady and former Golden Glove Champion, the other is a male Martial Arts expert. Would we recognize them if we found out their names? Boooooo, what a letdown.

Frado started out at 367 pounds, and lost 162 pounds for a total percentage of weight loss of 44.14% (good thing he sent Mark home, I guess!) Ada weighs in next. Can she be the Domin-Ada of the finale? She started at 258 pounds and must have lost over 113 pounds to take the lead from Frado. She lost 99 pounds. Is there some kind of fan favorite award she can win? Patrick weighs in last. He started out at a huge 400 pounds. To beat Frado, he needs to have lost over 176 pounds. Frado watches him weigh in like he knew Patrick would win. Patrick weighs in at 219, having lost 181 pounds. Patrick is the winner! Confetti Cannons!

How do you feel about Patrick winning?

Are you excited for Season 11? Did you see those twin brothers with the same glasses and mustache? I am so excited! I'll see you guys Jan. 4, 2011!
