Desiree Hartsock may have sent home two men in Atlantic City but let's admit it, there was nothing really controversial about this week's Bachelorette. Still, that doesn't mean our regular Bachelorette bloggers don't have anything to talk about. In fact, James' revelation that he cheated on his ex left viewers debating whether or not she should have sent him home. Meanwhile, observations about Desiree's latest group date could reveal something interesting.

Desiree Hartsock on James:
"I appreciated his honesty and believe that no one should be judged by their past. I was disappointed because I had been cheated on, but I was hopeful that James was so forthcoming because he would never do it again. I decided I was not going to hold it against him... Ending the night dancing in James's arms made me feel secure and happy about the date. Also, being a part of such a wonderful day together created a bond and an even stronger connection between us."
Bachelorette host Chris Harrison on James:
"I'm curious to know what all of you thought about James admitting to Des that he cheated on his college girlfriend. Do you think honesty was really the best policy here? I know Des ended up giving him the rose, but do you think she'll ever forget what he told her? It will be interesting to see how that affects their relationship in the weeks to come."
Season 6 Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky's observation on Desiree's group date:
"One thing I noticed during the group date is that Des always seems to be standing/sitting next to Chris. I find that VERY interesting. I kind of wonder if he could be the man in the end. I know I always found a way to stand next to Roberto during my season. Could be a sign. We shall see. Plus, the high heels for his talent portion was so endearing and dorky. I loved it!
Season 6 Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky's Bachelor prediction: "I am still sticking with my belief that Brooks will be the next Bachelor--mostly because of how much screen time he got last night. The producers WANT us to fall in love with him. They want us to root for him so that we'll want to see him find love after his heart gets broken when Desiree doesn't choose him. However, from what you guys say on Twitter, Drew seems to be another fan favorite. So, assuming that Des doesn't end up with either of these guys (and I have a feeling she doesn't), I'll predict that our next Bachelor is either Brooks or Drew."
Chris Harrison on next week's Bachelorette: "Ben will continue to stir things up, but James is really the one who will step into the crosshairs next week with some ill-advised words. These guys are really falling for Des and are very protective of her, and this is going to lead to some explosive confrontations."
If you were in Desiree's shoes, would you have sent James home? What do you think of Ali's observation about Chris and her Bachelor prediction?
