This past week on The Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock traveled to Dallas, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; McMinneville, Oregon and Salt Lake City, Utah, to get to know her last four bachelors a bit better by visiting their families. As expected, Desiree deepened each of her relationships with Zak Waddell, Drew Kenney, Chris Siegfried and Brooks Forester, because you don't just marry the man, you marry the family.

In Dallas, Des got to meet the Waddells, and as expected, they were all fun-loving goobers like Zak. The Waddells must have a goofy gene, because each and every one of them were high energy and hilarious. Zak's mother even stood out of her chair at the dinner table to crack a joke.

In this deleted scene, Des gets to know Zak's brother, Denton Waddell, a bit better. Denton confirms to Des all of the things she already knows about Zak. That he is funny, thoughtful and adventurous, and has been that way forever. It is easy to see where Zak inherited these fantastic traits. He also tells Des that if things don't work out with Zak, he is more than willing to pick up where his brother left off ... jokingly, of course!

At the end of the date, Zak gave Des the promise ring that he bought for her in Atlantic City and told her he loves her. It was a very sweet ending to a seemingly perfect date, but unfortunately, Zak was sent home at the end of the episode.

On a brighter note, Des is on the track to marriage with Drew, Brooks and Chris. In Phoenix, Desiree got to meet Drew's sweet family and lovely father, who described Drew's sister, Melissa Kenney, as an angel that has taught their family lessons in patience and love. In McMinneville, Chris and Des played a game of baseball that displayed their athleticism and chemistry. Des also got her back adjusted by Chris' dad. Lastly, Brooks brought Desiree home to Salt Lake City, Utah, and his mother told Des that he is both ready for marriage and to be a father, which is good news for Des since she already confessed to Chris Harrison that she loves him.

The stakes are only going to continue to heighten in two weeks when Des and the men head to Antigua, so be sure to watch The Bachelorette on Monday at 8pm on ABC.
