Jillian Harris will be getting her second chance at love as ABC brings us another season of The Bachelorette. This time, the former Bachelor 13 runner-up will be weeding out her ideal match from among a group of the country's most eligible bachelors. Thirty men vying for her attention won't be easy, but the 29-year-old restaurant interior designer seemingly has a clear-cut approach to her Bachelorette debut. Her strategy: To be as straightforward as possible.
"I don't like hurting people and I don't like disappointing people so I'm curious to see how I'm gonna deal with that but I'm also excited that this time I get to make the right choices and who's right for me," Harris told Buzz Hunters.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
At present, Harris is filming the fifth season of The Bachelorette,
which will kick off on May 18 at 9pm with a two-hour special premiere. And while previous Bachelorette
stars tend to give their unsolicited advice for the new love searcher, Harris would rather pay no attention to their opinions and enter the reality dating competition on a clean slate.
"I'm going into this as a blank slate as if I'm the very first Bachelor Bachelorette
ever. Trista and Ryan [from season 1] are the only ones who have worked out and I would love to be just like them," she explained.
Meanwhile, the Vancouver beauty reveals the difference between Canadian guys and American guys based on her experience as the new Bachelorette.
"American guys are a bit more assertive. They know what they want and they get out there and get it," she said.
Following the premiere of The Bachelorette
, fans can catch Jillian Harris on the show's regular time period every Monday at 8pm beginning May 25.
