Last night viewers watched as Jillian Harris rejected two potential suitors in her pursuit of final choice Ed Swiderski. As they each departed their final confrontations with the Bachelorette, Reid Rosenthal--who returned after being eliminated two weeks ago to tell Jillian he loved her--and Kiptyn Locke, who had intended to propose, shared their heartache in ABC's weekly "Diary of the Departed."

Reid especially had some rather harsh words for Jillian's choice, saying, "I think she made a huge mistake. Huge. Like... she'll see. I don't know if it's going to take a month, if it's going to take two months, she's going to find out."

Reid later added, "I fear that she did what I typically do, and she was thinking too much. [...] Ed?!" [Expletive]

Kiiptyn Locke, the runner-up, was more sullen and shocked, but remained a gentleman after he told Jillian that he wanted her to be happy, and that Ed was a lucky man.

"She's such an incredible woman and has such a good head on her shoulders that I have to believe that she's making the right choice," he said.

"I was willing to give her all of me," Locke said. "I didn't pull out the ring because I thought she was going to say something back to me about what I had said. And then when I continued on...I didn't realize that was the end of it."

This is the first time he's gotten his heart broken, revealed Kiptyn. "As much as this hurts right now, I put it out there. You can't hold anything back."

After Jillian returned his admissions of love, Ed got down on one knee and proposed marriage during last night's finale. Bachelorette host Chris Harrison will catch up with the couple tonight at 10 PM during the "After the Final Rose" Special.

Will they still be engaged, or does another shocking twist await Jillian and her viewers, who have really been through the ringer this season? If a shocking moment awaits, ABC has done a great job keeping it under wraps, and in interviews this week, Jillian has continued to say that she's very happy with all her decisions.
