ABC will be launching yet another spin-off series The Bachelor
franchise that will hopefully fill the void left by Bachelor Pad
ever since the network decided that it would not return for a fourth season. Entertainment Weekly
first reported the news of Bachelor in Paradise
, which largely mirrors the essence of Bachelor Pad
but will be filmed in a tropical destination.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
According to the network, "the romantic dating series will feature new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history, plus all the usual romance, drama and tears we've come to expect from the Bachelor franchise. It all comes together in the romantic television event of the summer."
Fan favorites and villains from The Bachelor franchise are expected to grace the new spin-off, which will serve as yet another platform for them to find love. And while there will be rose ceremony, it's not yet clear if someone will go home each week in the six-episode series.
Bachelor in Paradise, which will be hosted by Chris Harrison, is expected to air after The Bachelorette concludes this summer.
Meanwhile, Renee Oteri, the single mom who competed for Juan Pablo Galavis in The Bachelor season 18, is officially off the market. On March 20, she shared her wedding photos on Instagram with the caption, "And THAT just happened. I married my best friend of 22 years!" Renee married boyfriend Bracy Maynard less than a month after they got engaged.
