They're the glue that holds
The Bachelor together, the only two people that make the show a legitimate dating show. After being dumped by Alex Michael on the first season of
The Bachelor,
Trista Rehn got the opportunity to choose from a group of eligible and hunky men on a spinoff,
The Bachelorette. Her decision to delve back into reality television proved to be life changing as its where she met her husband, Ryan Sutter. To date, they are the only
Bachelor couple to survive in post-reality world. The couple married in 2003 and the ceremony was televised on ABC. In 2007, they welcomed their first child together and in a recent issue of US Weekly magazine, the couple shared family pictures and details on how they spent their holidays.

In the US Weekly issue, Trista and Ryan pose with their 5 month old son, Maxwell. Trista had this to say about becoming a new parent: "It's really special. We have somebody who needs us. We just traveled to Nebraska for an early Christmas, where Max got to meet his grandparents. It's great to introduce him to our traditions, even if he doesn't understand." The couple also shared their family holiday card that they sent to friends and family.
For Christmas, the new parents gave their son a little motorized firetruck to play with. The gift is especially meaningful since daddy Ryan is a firefighter. "I couldn't resist," Trista admitted. Max loves to play with his father and his favorite game is "super spaceship", where Ryan zooms the happy baby all over the family living room. He also loves spending time with his mom, often waking her up at the crack of dawn for a meal and some bonding time. When Trista gets time to herself, she works on getting back into shape. She is only three pounds away from getting back to her pre-baby weight.
