The Bachelorette’s DeAnna Pappas
and Jesse Csincsak are hoping to beat the odds and make it to the altar. If they get there and go through with the wedding, they’ll be the second couple in Bachelor
history to tie the knot. The only other couple to have a happy ending is The Bachelorette’s
Trista and Ryan Sutters, who have currently been married for 5 years. DeAnna and Jesse are planning a wedding for May 9, 2009 in the Bahamas. The date and the location have special meaning for them since it’s the place that they fell in love and exactly one year from when Jesse first proposed. There has been talk of the two televising their wedding, in the same way that Trista and Ryan did but it’s still just a rumor. However, should the nuptials make it on television, you might just recognize the minister.
Today, In Touch Weekly reported that former Bachelor Andy Baldwin
will be presiding over DeAnna and Jesse’s wedding. "Andy is a certified minister," an insider explains told the magazine. Andy and the couple actually ended up meeting online, through MySpace. It’s fairly common for reality show contestants to reach out to former competitors and participants online. The three became great friends and, to DeAnna and Jesse, he seemed like the obvious choice to officiate their wedding.
Andy was more than happy to preside over the wedding ceremony for his close friends. "I'm really so happy for DeAnna and Jesse,” Baldwin told In Touch. “I am really honored that they’ve asked me and I can’t wait to be a part of their big day.” DeAnna told ABC at the “After The Final Rose” special that she has every intention of changing her name to Csincsak. The two will be spending their honeymoon on an all expense paid trip to Greece provided by ABC and The Bachelorette
