Chris asks Jason about Molly, and he says that she is truly becoming his best friend. Melissa is "the ultimate wife," but Molly "is my best friend. . . . and that's what I need." Ha! Tell that to Jillian Harris
Melissa won't be here tonight, but she wrote a letter to him. Chris reads a snippet of the letter, in which she reports that she is in a good place in her life now.
Molly Malaney takes the stage, wearing a green strapless dress and her hair blown out straight. Because we couldn't possibly be expected to remember what we saw just last night, and then another time at the beginning of tonight's show, we see another
clip of Jason asking for Molly back. Geez, how many times are we going to have to re-watch these clips? Chris asks Molly whether she was expecting Jason to do what he did. She says that she was hoping for it, but wasn't expecting it.
Molly says that her feelings for Jason never went away. She says that after the taping of the "After the Final Rose" Part 1, they didn't just jump right back into a relationship. She said that she grilled him and they had a lot of long talks about why he did what he did. She feels that it's unfortunate that her reputation and moral fortitude are being maligned by people on the Internet, but she reports that she and Jason are together and happier than ever.
With 13 minutes left in the program tonight, Jason and Molly are reunited once again in front of the cameras. Jason walks on stage and greets Molly with a big hug and kiss. Molly says that things are going really well with them, and she doesn't regret the way anything happened. (I'm sure Melissa doesn't feel that way. Remember her? Sweet woman from Texas?)
Chris asks, "Just to clarify, where are we in this relationship?" Um, Chris, I don't think you
are in their
relationship. But Jason says, like a ginormous cheeseball, "We're in love!" They have been seeing each other a handful of times since "After the Rose" Part 1, and she will be moving to Seattle soon. Jason hopes that everyone will be able to see that they have followed their hearts (gag!), and he says that this whole thing is "about making tough decisions" and is "about being honest." Are you sure about that, Jason? I'd like to see him answer that question with a lie detector.
Chris asks them when the first point was when they knew they were falling in love, and they say that it was the overnight tent date. Molly yells,"Nothing happened! We were fully clothed!" but I think the lady doth protest too much. Chris brings out the same tent they slept in that night, as a gift for the happy couple.
And that, my friends, is the end of that. (Except not really. Continue on to the next page to find out who will become the next Bachelorette
