'Celebrity Apprentice' First Casts Out Carol Leifer
'Celebrity Apprentice' First Casts Out Carol Leifer
Another season of Celebrity Apprentice has begun, and that means more of those two trademark Trump words: "You're fired!"  The teams are divided into men vs. women, and now that the premiere has passed one of them had to be eliminated.  The first to hear those words on the third installment of the competition is a female, comedienne Carol Leifer.

Tasked to manage and earn money for a diner, Seinfeld writer Carol Leifer just wasn't up to the challenge.  She didn't get along well with the rest of the contestants, and was even a black sheep in her own team.

During the premiere of Celebrity Apprentice, the 53-year-old stand-up comic called the fellow females on her group "dumb."  Soon enough, they deemed her weak and sought to get rid of her immediately.

As Donald Trump let go of Carol Leifer, he praised Poison frontman Bret Michaels for a job well done. W e didn't think the Rock of Love star had it in him, but it's a good thing he's showing his skills early on in the game.

Elected as the project manager for the diner task, Bret Michaels let his administration skills shine through.  We weren't sure he had any in the first place, but he certainly beat Cyndi Lauper at it.  She was chosen as project manager for the opposing team and didn't do as well as the Poison musician.

Meanwhile, we did expect Leifer to stay longer though.  But not past the second episode.  She never seemed really into the competition, and didn't look like the type to follow her superiors.

For one thing, she didn't do well under someone else's supervision, and didn't hit it off with her team.  Firing her certainly was a good decision for the girls, and for Trump, to eliminate her firsthand.

Next week, the cast will be taking on a different challenge and we'd be hearing those words fire away from Donald's mouth again.  Now that Carol Leifer's out of the way, will the ladies be able to do better?
