-Reality How would you like to race around the world for a million dollars? With your roommate, cousin, or ex-spouse maybe? That's the idea behind The Amazing Race, CBS's hit reality show in which twelve teams of two compete in a global footrace so wild it would make Jules Verne's head spin. Along the way the teams must manage rocky mountains, spooky shipwrecks, and strange foreign cultures (not to mention each other) before one team crosses the finish line and walks away with the million dollar prize.

Charla Baklayan Faddoul came from Phoenix and was born in a hospital in Syria. At present, she is the manager and co-owner of ten sportswear stores. Moreover, she has a form of dwarfism but does not consider it as a hindrance to fulfill her dreams.

Mirna Hindoyan is a lawyer and is the first cousin of Charla. She came from Towson, Maryland. Like her cousin, she is able to speak a variety of languages like Turkish, French, Spanish and Armenian.

Charla and Mirna were known as the "cousins" on the popular television show The Amazing Race season 5. They were eliminated on the 7th episode and ranked 6th place overall in the competition.
