Charla Baklayan Faddoul came from Phoenix and was born in a hospital in Syria. At present, she is the manager and co-owner of ten sportswear stores. Moreover, she has a form of dwarfism but does not consider it as a hindrance to fulfill her dreams. Mirna Hindoyan is a lawyer and is the first cousin of Charla. She came from Towson, Maryland. Like her cousin, she is able to speak a variety of languages like Turkish, French, Spanish and Armenian. Charla and Mirna were known as the "cousins" on the popular television show The Amazing Race season 5. They were eliminated on the 7th episode and ranked 6th place overall in the competition.
