Rob Mariano, popularly known for appearing on The Amazing Race, is currently holding auditions for the highly anticipated reality show he's hosting called Tontine.  But while hiss show hasn't officially aired, he's already making controversy with his latest video appearance.

During a casting call in San Diego, things got a physical between the Amazing Race star and a potential contestant.  Although it's not clear exactly what happened, the drama was caught on tape, showing a man shoving Mariano, who tells him to “walk away” several times and punches the man in the head twice.

The video, which says Rob “Decks [a] Heckler,” can be found on YouTube and is now swarming around the Internet.

Rumble or no rumble, Mariano's new show is creating such a buzz with its extensive physical and mental challenges, which spans across the globe for 100 days on all seven continents, not to mention its whopping grand prize of $10 million, the largest in reality TV history.

In Tontine, Mariano will be taking his extensive gaming experience by motivating the contestants and serving as a hands-on host who travels from various areas with the participants.  As of now, there is still no word on which major network the new show will air.

Meanwhile, casting calls for Tontine are still underway.  According to the official website of the show, it has extended its online application until midnight of August 31.

Filming is presently scheduled to begin in September, but may take place on a later date based on producer's discretion.

Aside from The Amazing Race, the 31-year-old reality television star is also known for his exposure on Survivor: Marquesas, Survivor: All-Stars, The Amazing Race: All-Stars, and Rob and Amber: Against the Odds.
