The peace talks between Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Anya (Dichen Lachman) ended in bullets and arrows flying between the two sides on last Wednesday's The 100. This week on "I Am Become Death," the Grounders retaliate in a horrific manner when Murphy (Richard Harmon) returns to camp bloodied and beaten.
Check out this exclusive The 100 photo of Murphy's return. Given his condition, a death sentence may have been preferable to enduring his treatment by the Grounders. Clarke looks horrified by what she's seeing and hearing.
"If we weren't at war already, we sure as hell are now."
Finn's words about the situation between the 100 and the Grounders were accurate it would appear. Check out the "I Am Become Death" sneak peek.
Octavia finds the bloodied Murphy trying to sneak back into the camp. He claims he wasn't sneaking, but running from the Grounders. Bellamy wants to kill him, but Finn refuses to allow it because Murphy could provide information on the Grounders.
Who will get their way? Bellamy or Finn?
Executive Producer Jason Rothenberg says "It's an incredibly dark episode and very disturbing in many ways."
"I Am Become Death" Trailer provides insight into the Grounders next move in this war.
The Grounders sent Murphy into the 100 camp with an illness that affects the camp. Clarke, Bellamy and others get sick with blood coming from their eyes. The illness weakens them, which makes them an easy target.
Will the Grounders attack? Will the illness kill them or just put them into a weakened state before they heal?
The 100 airs Wednesdays at 9pm ET on the CW.
