Born December 28, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas Dekker is a talented artist who acts, sings, writes music and plays guitar. He is a film and television actor who has appeared in numerous shows such as The Nanny, ER, Seinfeld, Star Trek Voyager, Touched by an Angel, Gross Pointe, Boston Public, CSI, 7th Heaven and House. In 2006, Dekker was cast for the role of Zach in Heroes, and has appeared in the film Simple Joys where he played Stephen. Other TV film credits include Inside the Osmonds and Campus Confidential. Another notable role on television was on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, where he played Nick Szalinski.

John Connor is played by Thomas Dekker in the series The Sarah Connor Chronicles. John is the son of Sarah, the woman who vanquished the liquid metal Terminator who was sent from the future to kill him. Now that he and his mother are running from the law, they are confronted with more challenges in pursuit of peace in their lives. Fifteen year old John might be the future savior of mankind, however, he still needs to learn a few tricks from his kick-ass mom. Also, while trying to live a normal life in school, he gets drawn to Cameron, a mysterious girl who would later turn out to be more than just his confidante.
