Colby Donaldson Biography:
Born on April 1, 1974 in Christoval, Texas, Colby Donaldson was a student at Texas Tech University, from where he earned his degree in business marketing. Since appearing on Survivor: The Australian Outback and Survivor: All-Stars, Donaldson has achieved considerable success as an actor in Los Angeles, having landed roles in television shows like Reba, Just Shoot Me,
Bones and
Curb Your Enthusiasm . He is also the spokesmodel for Schick razors and was cast as a minor character in the suspense thriller Red Eye.
As a contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback, Donaldson strived hard throughout the game and when he won the final immunity challenge, chose to take
Tina Wesson with him to the Final 2. Because Wesson was well-liked by the jury, the results from the last tribal council was in Wesson’s favor, and consequently made Donaldson the runner-up.
Donaldson returned to the competition on the special season, Survivor: All-Stars, and had bonded with
Ethan Zohn when the tribes were switched. Together, they planned to vote off Jerri Manthey on the 7th tribal council. However, the group of
Jerri ,
Lex and
Shi Ann ,decided to vote for Donaldson because he was a great threat physically, consequently making him the 7th contestant eliminated from the competition.
